Mirage is a new magazine which focuses on “fashion, swimwear and jetset hedonism”. I bought the first issue last week and although it’s nothing groundbreaking, it’s pretty good for a debut. The next issue comes out in August and I’m interested to see what they have in store. This set is by one of my favorite up and coming photographers, Julie Pike. Her photography often features nature and beauty as you can see from the following photos.

February’s W features ‘Le Chic’ by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. At first I wasn’t too impressed with the previews I came across. However, after looking at the magazine in person and seeing the work as a whole, I can’t help but enjoy this. Each model has something unique to bring to the table but it’s Anna Maria and Edita who truly own this ed. The duo is also featured in a second spread by Craig McDean, entitled ‘ESP’.

Bruce Weber is known for his black and white photographs, and you can most definitely see why in this enchanting spread from QVEST.

I love this set by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. I usually find blank backgrounds rather bland. However, even I have to admit it works well in these. Just a warning, if you look closely you can see some nudity.
