Chad Pitman doesn’t give us the typical summer editorial for Flair‘s May issue. Sure, the signature swimsuits and sand-filled settings are present, but the dim lighting and elegant shapes that model Kendra Spears produces, makes for a brilliant story.

The main editorial from Acne Paper Sweden‘s Summer 2009 edition is a visual masterpiece. Daniel Jackson makes a series of painfully beautiful images that have just the right amount of sensuality and mystique. Also, the cast of models is a fantastic one with its diverse talent.
One surprise here, however, is the appearance of Alyssa Miller. Although she has been a long time favorite of mine, I rarely get to see her in magazines. Here’s to hoping we get to see more in the future.
