Marking her second appearance in Vogue China, Eniko Mihalik gives us incomparable power and grace in “Scientific Glamour”. Photographed by Greg Kadel, “Glamour” is able to juxtapose sleek architecture with highly constructed designs. As far as styling goes, Brian Molloy does a remarkable job of picking and choosing pieces that fit into the architectural theme perfectly.
As alluded to by the preview, Fendi’s fall campaign plays out to be a dramatic and smoke-filled series starring Jessica Stam. With an imposing male figure looming in the background and Jessica wearing a mask of weariness, Karl Lagerfeld brings some intrigue to a campaign season which has been sorely lacking drama.

Ellen von Unwerth is the queen of lolita-esque editorials, photographing models with just the right amount of girlish charm and womanly allure. “Little Miss Precious” for American Elle is no exception. Long time muse of von Unwerth, Kemp Muhl, plays the role of Lolita in a lush story that is ladened with colorful flowers, ornate rooms and big hair.

Elle‘s August issue pays homage to American designers with “Patriot Games” by Richard Bush. Styled by Sarah Richardson, Egle Tvirbutaite wears pieces from brands which include Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs and Donna Karan. The wearability of the American aesthetic is also not lost on us, as Egle jumps and preens for the camera.
From Vogue Russia and now most recently, Vogue China August, Terry Tsiolis impresses with his use of lighting and technique. Studio shoots can often get a bad wrap for being boring or uninspired, but Terry manages to excel in this area where others can not. And with Sigrid Agren in front of his lens, and Samira Nasr in the role of fashion director–inspiration is far from lacking.
Mey Bun (New York Models) and Tao Okamoto shine in front of Terry Tsiolis’ lens for Vogue Russia August. Styled by Simon Robins in colorful, 1980s inspired pieces from Gucci, Balenciaga and Dolce & Gabbana; Mey and Tao are full of seemingly endless energy.
