It has been awhile since we have seen Italian model Mariacarla Boscono in print. Fortunately, i-D’s new fall issue features the striking brunette in an 8 page spread entitled, “Desire, the Outsider”. Photographed by Paul Wetherell and styled by Erika Kurihara, Mariacarla strips down to heavy fall coats and sheer pieces with a winning combination of grace and broodiness.

    well, yes, they have resemblance.
    although i love mariacarla more because she’s fierce and i love her style. She is the Italian icon.

    Thanks for the photos. I fell in love with MariaCarla when I watched the short movie, Shooting the Pirelli Calendar with Peter Beard. Don’t remember the site, but you had to register. I’m sure google would find it. Somewhere on Pirelli site, if I remember correctly.

    the fur coat in the first pic is by giles
    but where can i get it
    it seems like theres no shop or store that sells giles
