
Creative Director Tomas Maier called the fall 2011 collection from Bottega Veneta a mix of control and passion, and when looking at Veneta’s elegant protagonist there is definite pull between classic austerity and modern creativity. Experimenting with silhouettes, sharp lines and embellished fabrics of lace, wools and waxen leather came together for a story of flawless technique.

Our first look at Carine Roitfeld’s final issue as Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Paris features Victoria’s Secret models in an intriguing mix of VS lingerie and high fashion creations. Styled by Roitfeld, models Kaorlina Kurkova, Adriana Lima, Izabel Goulart and Lily Donaldson sizzle in front of Inez & Vinoodh’s lens with Body Secrets.

Wendy Bevan’s early twentieth century style lends itself perfectly to the latest Marie Claire Italia where Bevan and fashion editor Elisabetta Massari looked towards Frida Kahlo for inspiration. Featuring Emily Senko as the Mexican artist, Latin Lover uses some of the season’s most stunning looks from the likes of Yves Saint Laurent, Roberto Cavalli and Blumarine to create one captivating narrative.

WSJ Magazine hits newsstands tomorrow and this marks editor-in-chief Deborah Needleman’s first fashion issue. The cover story stars Missy Rayder photographed by Catherine Servel as they take on spring’s most vibrant fashions including Jil Sander, Salvatore Ferragamo and Louis Vuitton styled by fashion editor Marina Burini.

Photographer Nikolay Biryukov proves how color blocking can really pop in the March edition of Elle Ukraine. Set against a gloomy background, Olga Serova dons the technicolor hues of Max Mara, Versace, Michael Kors and others styled by Natalia Osadchaya.

Versace’s sexy and strong woman gets a military inspired revamp for the fall 2011 season with metal embellishments, tailored coats and open toed boots. Lead by Abbey Lee Kershaw, models strutted down the runway in royal blue, pure white and stark black with statement pieces including form-fitting dresses, pleated jackets and fur covered sleeves. The finale gowns included a plethora of feathers which adorned long trains.
