Cat fights, beach getaways and vixens, oh my! The spring 2012 campaign season may just be starting, but spring 2011 also had its fair share of memorable imagery too. Our latest installment of Year in Review recaps fourteen standout advertisements from seasons pass. From Prada to Louis Vuitton, spring delivered pure fashion with a bit of madness to top it off.

Summer Day Dreaming – Olga K takes on ladylike yet gloomy ensembles from the spring season with Angelo D’Agostino’s studio images shot for Fashion Gone Rogue’s most recent exclusive. Styled by Lisa Jarvis, Olga sports the femnine frocks of Herve Leger, Giorgio Armani, Christian Siriano and others. The beauty is also given an edge with a sleek cut by hair stylist Yusa Takashi and dark makeup by Beau Nelson.

Romantic Outdoors – Forgoing the traditional names, Valentino enlists photographer Deborah Turbeville to shoot Zuzanna Bijoch, Maud Welzen, Bette Franke, and Fei Fei Sun for its spring 2012 campaign. Shot in Mexico, the girls sport updos similar to the spring runway show. (WWD)

Kasia Struss takes flight to Rome, Italy for the spring 2012 campaign from Moschino. Juergen Teller returned for yet another season, shooting Kasia in the label’s Spanish inspired designs. (WWD)

Femme Fatale – Candice Swanepoel takes her bombshell appeal to the January cover shoot of Harper’s Bazaar Turkey (and Harper’s Bazaar Spain) where she dons a wardrobe of read-to-wear looks paired with Victoria’s Secret lingerie. In Koray Birand’s sultry photographs, Candice sports revealing spring pieces from labels such as Chanel, Isabel Marant, Christian Dior and Balmain styled by Juan Cebrian. / Make-Up by Carolina Gonzalez, Hair by Robert Di Ciua
