Australian model Andreja Pejic has landed her first fashion glossy cover since coming out as a transgender woman. Appearing on the March 2016 cover of Marie Claire Spain, the blonde wears a purple and green embellished dress from Versace’s spring collection. In 2015, Andreja had a milestone year after appearing in campaigns for both Kenneth Cole and Make Up For Ever.
The magazine named her ‘Model of the Year’, a distinction which has previously gone to Linda Evangelista and Anja Rubik (according to Andreja’s Instagram post). Photographed by Pablo Zamora and styled by Jennifer Bauser, Andreja hits the studio for a glossy spread featuring the designs of Saint Laurent, Dior, Calvin Klein Collection and more brands.
