Outfitted by Simon Robins, Ashley dons a mix of fall haute couture and lingerie from the likes of Atelier Versace, Valentino Haute Couture and Agent Provocateur in the baroque inspired shoot.

I love the picture with the sword and the sporran (both styling and pose), but otherwise this editorial seems pretty lackluster. Repetitive styling and Ashley looks very awkward in many of the shots.

I normally really dislike Ashley but this is absolutely amazing. The photo with the margiela is absolutely…just perfect.

Guys, in all honesty, a very ambitious editorial with great styling concepts but such an utter miscast….the whole thing just falls flat due to miscasting.
Raggedy Ashley can do street but certainly nothing fairy-like or anything remotely elegant. Nothing wrong with that in itself.
What an anticlimax. Im sure the whole production team realised this as well but it was way too late by then.

Doesn’t anyone think the casting of her was deliberate? A clean cut classically beautiful model would have been so expected in this story. Ashley got you all talking…

I’m always a little tentative every time Ashley Smith is featured in a spread–because of the default comparisons to Lara Stone, which are unfortunate for all involved.
