Throwing a nod back to a time gone by, Steven Meisel photographs the youthful gang of Kirsi Pyrhonen, Hind Sahli, Ylonka Verheul, Daria Strokous, Julia Nobis and Caroline Brasch Nielsen for the cover shoot of this month’s Vogue Italia. Styled by Karl Templer, Bathing Beauties brings a contemporary flair with modern accessories and outerwear.

    at least the third or fourth ed nowadays featuring headscarves!
    meisel's vogue italia editorials are a rare bird around here, so i'm happy for this one!
    i prefer his more elaborate shots with lots of styling and lots of pat mcgrath make-ups and julien dy's 'dos, but these are nice, too.

    god i don't like the daria stroukos girl. the very first pic kinda scares me. but i like how the other girls look like. and they all look exceptionally boney. i have nothing against skinny models though. i rather like it. and for once i really like a meisel editorial. most of the time i find him bland. i don't know why but this is lovely.
