‘The DUFF’ star Bella Thorne stars in the May 2015 cover story from Elle Canada, wearing fun spring looks. Photographed by Max Abadian and styled by Juliana Schiavinatto, the famous redhead sports designs from the likes of Tommy Hilfiger and more labels. In her interview, she opens up about being criticized for her style choices.

Bella talks about how people slam her fashion choices, wanting her to be a “normal teenager” at the age of 17. Bella responds with: “Well, you’re not letting me be that by calling me a slut because I’m wearing high-waisted shorts; you’re not letting me when you speculate about what I’m doing at Coachella. Teenagers go to Coachella; teenagers sometimes wear revealing clothes—it’s part of growing up and finding out who you are.”
