No. Just no.
i hate kunty karl for doing these celeb shots…esp not blake who is famous in hollywood for being a shit actress and thats why she cant even get a normal role, because every film director realised this over the years..only karl sees sth in her which isnt even there….
Call me a b*tch, but this is such a horrible debasement of Chanel.

It started with lily allen and it’s simply got worse.

I expected so much more. I think Blake Lively is gorgeous girl, with amazing body and great hair, but nothing about her says “Chanel woman”. I think Karl made a poor choice with this one, and the photo is not that great either. He should stick to his day job.
I even think Leighton Meester would have been a better choice, because once you polish that girl up, she is incredible (See Lithuanian L’Officiel editorial)
….except Leighton Meester could never embody a Chanel woman. She makes cheesy horrible pop songs and movies, she wears the most horrid red-carpet outfits that are way too “trendy” and unflattering, and she has a sex tape- gross!
At least Blake is genuine, down-to-earth, she knows how to dress herself (hello? she doesn’t have a stylist), athletic, and has a few good movies (where she actually proves she can act in). THAT is her appeal, especially to older people like Karl, Anna Wintour, and Micheal Kors. To younger people she is just too regular – to older people she is like a breath of fresh air.

oooooooh come on Karl! that girl’s face says absolutely nothing. There’s no Chanel…. I could understand if it was about clothes – okay, she’s got great body, but handbags ?
and yeah, Meester could make it work….

Totally thought this was Edita V at first! Wishing it was, to be honest.
Thanks for this Chanel Mademoiselle handbag post. What a wonderful shade of red.
