Bottega Veneta enlists Karolina Kurkova for a cinematic spring 2011 campaign shot by Alex Prager.
While I like the idea and I love Bottega, I just have never seen Karolina as a Bottega type of woman.
ehhh…kinda boring…hopefully better pix will be coming…
i love this ad! it’s really simple…but emotes a lot
i find the hitchcockian influence to be really interesting. bottega always goes one step farther than everyone else in terms of producing campaigns that are not only beautiful, but also thought provoking
This is such an excellent observation… you’re absolutely correct about the symmetry with Hitchcock iconography. It makes me admire this campaign all the more.
Its a bit commercial for me. Someone said about Karolina not really being Botega woman, and I agree. Anyone else would have made this ad edgier.
that’s totally like a scene from the birds of hitchcock!
I wonder if the bird was shopped in or it just happened to fly by.
I like the angle, pose and the light.
