After launching its fall ads earlier this season, Burberry teases its very first straight-to-consumer collection with a new campaign. With the runway show set for September 19, 2016, the designs will be made shoppable after the presentation. Burberry chief executive officer Christopher Bailey was influenced by the 1921 Virginia Woolf novel âOrlandoâ for the new season.
In the campaign, models Jean Campbell, Cavan McCarthy and Alex Dragulele pose for Mario Testino in embellished jackets and trousers. Classic white statue busts add a sense of timelessness to the advertisements. Alongside the color shots are black and white images of Burberry artisans.
