Keep Candles Handy

Vanina Sorrenti has a visually stunning spread in i-D’s May issue. Although I’m not of the whole set, I like the eye-catching effects used. It’s better to be daring than to be boring and predictable.

All Eyes on Valentine

“All Eyes on Valentine” gives us the rare opportunity to see a single series photographed by five different photographers. This definitely creates more intensity within the editorial as the style switches with every other shot. Perhaps the photographer’s work who stands out the most is Magnus Unnar. His angles are the most extreme and he uses high contrast, making the photos easily identifiable.

This is an old ed from Numéro Tokyo. I completely forgot about it until I browsed through some old folders. I like its simple beauty and her hair is to die for.
