Daria Werbowy lands the May 2016 cover story from Harper’s Bazaar UK, looking elegant in an high-necked dress designed by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini. Photographed by Nico Bustos and styled by Miranda Almond, the Canadian beauty poses in romantic looks from the spring collections. The brunette wears the designs of Chloe, Etro, Alexander McQueen and more.
In her interview, Daria talks about why she took a break from modeling in 2008. “I was uncomfortable with being a model for so long,” Daria says. ”I didn’t understand why I was doing it, because it didn’t make me feel good. I had everything I could want but I was still so insecure. Physically and mentally, I just couldn’t handle it any more.”
But things have changed for the better. “I’m fine now. I am super-happy to be alive and to be able to experience life. That wasn’t always the case. I think it’s something that’s comes with age.”
