Donna Karan Fall 2011 | New York Fashion Week

Grey and silvery hues dominated the runway at Donna Karan’s fall 2011 presentation today. A lesson in winter luxe–furs, sheer wraps and fitted dresses proved the new season to be one of glamorous sophistication as models glided down the runway with high updos and ethereal makeup.

I hate the hair and makeup. Too cartooney for me. This is beautiful stuff, but we’ve seen it all before. Same beige color palette and draping. I know she’s known for that, but I always kinda hope she will suprise me. And I could do without the fur.

I l0ve the fur. And sure it’s nothing super innovative, but it’s beautiful clothing. If it ain’t broke.

Great collection, but I hate the fur. Are they real? Cause they sure look like… :

Love the collection. Chic and feminine. The fur is gorgeous and adds real luxe to the clothes.

OMG. The makeup is horrendous. They look jaundiced around the eyes, and it draws attention to the dullness of the clothing. I love the fur, but the makeup and hair make these gorgeous models look like classy (and sickly) grandmothers.

    excellent!
