Karan’s Tribal SpringDonna Karan’s wearable and feminine designs get a tribal revamp for her spring 2012 collection shown during New York Fashion Week today. Karan notes that her new collection is inspired by her trips to Haiti–influences can be seen form-fitting silhouettes paired with rustic shades and paint splashed prints. 1. I love the slick hair and dark lips.  I think the clothes are gorgeous- Donna’s color palette is incredible, the prints are great and the cuts of the dresses are so sexy.  One of my favorite collections so far.  I originally saw the collection on Style, so the pictures were far smaller and the models looked less severe than they do here (just something to keep in mind).
