Last time we saw Erin Heatherton she was a sexy cowgirl, now with this month’s issue of Marie Claire Italia, the American model takes on the role of a surfer girl. Photographed by Rennio Maifredi, Erin wears beach ready pieces from the likes of Prada, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton styled by Laura Seganti. As clouds build, Erin seems ready for any storm with a fierce determination and alluring attitude.

Too much photoshop.
Dont like the lighting/postproduction, everything feels over-done and "fashion" for the relaxed beachwear being showcased.
geez, her bones are hanging out her body! beautiful shoot, but erin is looking a bit anorexic…
her backline is funny not very flattering in the one piece
Look at the 5th photo where she is wearing the yellow outfit…does anyone else see the bones poking out at the near the bottom of her back?

Love it, even though there's a lot of photoshop involved. There's one thing I don't like: her ribs sticking out.
erin's gorgeous but looks unhealthy in this shoot. its a shame they're making a display of her bones poking out.
I think ths shoot is almost too sexy for some reason, but I love all her accessories as well as the extras like the shorts and jackets
I love the styling, plus how the lighting enhances her facial features (fiery eyes, cheekbones) and it does bring a heat effect to the overall editorial :)

I'm glad so many are picking up on these patheticly skinny bodies. Kneecaps and knuckles are fine but the rest should be under a little flesh.
- Skin is not enough – throw the girl some scraps at least.
the photoshop makes her look like she has a serious skin condition ie skin cancer – its a little to try hard for me
I like it, the colors are pretty great to look at. However, I would like it a whole lot more if they had chosen a model with a more athletic, toned body. It probably would be more in keeping with the surfer girl theme of the shoot.
I'm not a big fan of summer editorials, but this one is great! I like her, she looks a lot like Angela Lindvall ;P
Settle people, stop being so aggressive with your comments. I think the display of bones maybe have been intentional, they're at the beach and to give this almost crustacean vibe…? That's grabbing at thin air isn't it. While I agree, she is too skinny, you don't have to be so sevre with your comments, especially using words like 'pathetic'. As fans of the fashion industry we all know what it can be like. I wonder if the photographer was saying "show me as much bones as possible!" and don't forget the use of lighting and even photoshot to make bones stand out more.

I like the high contrasting light but don’t like the fill reflected flash in her face that much should have been feathered more looks like someone is flashing a mirror in her face!
