FKA Twigs has been announced as the face of Calvin Klein Jeans’ spring-summer 2016 campaign. In the black and white images captured by David Sims, the R&B singer models alongside British dancer and choreographer Kaner Flex in dynamic poses. Also part of the advertisements, FKA Twigs directed a film set to the tune of her song ‘Good to Love’.

About the new campaign FKA Twigs says, “When I first started thinking of concepts for a Calvin Klein advert, it dawned on me that Calvin Klein is such an iconic brand and that I really wanted to combine artistically what I do with the striking imagery Calvin Klein has always maintained…I wanted to make something that could feel artistically futuristic, tense, crucial, loaded, emotionally complicated but ultimately still include the seductive, free and young feel of Calvin Klein.”

FKA Twigs could also be seen in Calvin Klein’s #mycalvins spring 2016 campaign which was released in January of this year. Photographed by Tyrone Lebon, the singer showed off her moves once again in bra tops, slouchy trousers and a chic skirt look.
