Gemma Ward lands not just one, but five different covers for the July 2016 issue of ELLE Australia. The cover is customizable in 35 different ways with the pictures photographed by Georges Antoni broken up in thirds. For each look, Gemma models Chanel cosmetics using products Lucia Pica’s first collection for Chanel’s ‘Le Rouge’ line. Makeup artist Victoria Baron creates the Aussie model’s bold eyeshadow and lip looks. Rachel Wayman styled the shoot with hair by Renya Xydis.
At 28-years-old, Gemma Ward made a comeback to modeling after a 6-year break in 2014. In her interview, the blonde opened up about why she took such a long break. “I wanted to focus on things I could develop and get better at because for a period of time I had people telling me, ‘You’ve got to do this when you’re young’, ‘Your looks are going to fade’” She continues, ”I didn’t feel like I could keep working. There was no way in the beginning, but then as time went on there were other things I felt like I needed to address.”
