Showing on the final day of Milan Fashion Week, Giorgio Armani presented his trademark tailoring and menswear inspired looks for fall-winter 2015 with a focus on pants. In a color palette of moody blues, purples and grey, the Armani woman struts out in relaxed pants layered under oversized sweaters or a long overcoat. For the Italian designer, it is not about following the trends but offering timeless style for a woman’s wardrobe. Modern details were included with the addition of fringe, asymmetrically cut tops and kaleidoscopic prints. Evening wear took a break from trousers for gowns featuring pretty pastel hues and heavily embellished, pleated bodices.
