It is still in the shops, 10 SPECIAL “MUSE” ISSUE, Guinevere is on cover with shaving cream nude and the main model throughout. It is only £6 and worth every penny. It comes sealed too:) It is easily found in London, but I am not sure where you are from.

Guinevere was such a genius choice for this anniversary special issue. I bought it myself after browsing it in the shops and falling on my bum. This is one of the many shoots of her but surely the most artistic. The mirrors pieces for examples look so awkward to work with but offer such amazing new angles to her already gorgeous posing. Mario Sorrenti is a great photographer and it is great he was offered so much space to experiment with Guinevere. Paid off:)
Artist and Muse. And the beauty is that it’s interchangable when you are talking about Guinevere/Sorrenti collaboration.

I’m not familiar with this magazine, so maybe this is what the magazine is like; soft porn. How is this fashion? How is this considered beautiful or unique? The mirror photos were interesting, but was the shaving cream necessary?
Of course, taste is different from one person to another, but I just don’t find it very appropriate or necessary.

that is an interesting comment, “Shaving cream: not necessary? ” well , without the shaving cream that would have been definitely soft porn. The shaving cream in my eyes, makes the body shape very abstract and a mere surface to texture. She could have been dripped in red paint it would have had the same creative effect. Guinevere is famous for baring all, which doesn’t mean all the magazines she shot for were inappropriate. She is a muse and does what photographers want her to explore in shapes and form.
The nudity is part of photography, photography is part of fashion editorials, it has transcended just clothes hangers. How many Vogue shots of Kate Moss with no clothes on and still is a fashion bible.

The shaving-cream shots are a bit uninspired, but #4 and 5, the mirror shots are fantastic, especially the eyes in #5

I’m not sure if I like it. It’s so in-your-face creepy that it startles me, but I kind of like how jaunting it is… oh, I don’t know!

the line is being blurred between fashion and “erotic art” here. personally i find this tastless and inappropriate, especially for a fashion magazine.

these are very disturbing

I really like the way they approached nude photography in this ed. In particular, the shots with the mirrors were neat.

Some of the shots are ok, but the last photo is horrifying. I’m not exactly sure why nor how being suffocated is beautiful, artistic, fashionable…It’s a little inappropriate to me. It reminds me of someone being thrown into a basement and tortured.
