Romancing the Day – A sunny day filled with cherry blossoms and summer breeze serves as the perfect backdrop to Slava Philippov’s latest work for Elle Russia June. Working with fashion editor Elena Bessonova, Filippov captures Irina Nikolaeva in romantic yet low-key looks from the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel and Alberta Ferretti.

    I think it would have looked better without the vintage colour processing. Some photos look really good.

    I hope it’s just the scan quality that’s to blame! In at least 50% of these it looks like her head just got photoshopped onto another model’s body.
