Jamie Bochert welcomes in the fall season on the cover of Evening Standard Magazine’s latest issue. Photographed by Liam Warwick, the brunette model gets clad in all black wearing a look from Louis Vuitton. The magazine’s fashion director Nicky Yates selects a wardrobe of relaxed suiting and menswear inspired separates for the shoot. Jamie looks sharp in designs from the likes of Balenciaga, Vetements and Victoria Beckham.
A muse of Marc Jacobs, Jamie is known for her androgynous looks and svelte physique. She talks to the publication about the criticism she faces on social media. “People [on Instagram] say really strange things, like ‘Oh you’re too skinny, eat a hamburger.'” To which she says, “[It] doesn’t piss me off. I’m happy with my body. But it is annoying when people who don’t even know you just assume you’re anorexic, or a drug addict, or a tranny.” But “Nick Cave for example, he’s really skinny. Do I think he’s anorexic? No, he’s just a beautiful man, and an amazing artist.” / Hair by Roberto di Cuia, Makeup by Pep Gay, Casting by Simone Schofer
