Photographed for the first time together in a publication, model and musician couple, Karen Elson and Jack White go on a whimsical road trip for the June edition of Vogue US. Captured by Annie Leibovitz, the duo wears a combination of vintage and contemporary ensembles from the likes of Marc Jacobs, Alberta Ferreti and John Galliano courtesy of Grace Coddington in Frock & Roll.

excellent editorial = )
nice models. and White here aptly
oooooooooooh! that should express my feelings on this enough lol
Bad taste. Jack white is such a boring attempt of a musician and he is certainly not pretty (nor edgy or interesting in my opinion). I don't see what it's doing in vogue. There's not much focus on the fashion.
I am a huge fan of Leibovitz's work! Her portraits are always dynamic and cinematic in scope… And Karen Elson rocks! I hope she finds much success in the music world…http://www.chungkitblog.wordpress.com
I couldn't disagree more. Jack White is awesome and it's the publication that blows. As for the editorial itself, it seems mediocre.
boring? are we talking about the same jack white? in any case, I think the editorial would've been a lot better had it been for a different magazine.
Vanity Fair and Leibovitz are always a great match.
Hmm…dark and disturbingly sexy at times. I was quite sucked in by this. Jack White may not be model-pretty, but he sure is striking to look at. I find plenty to think about in terms of the fashion. I like to see real people wearing great, glowing clothes in real environments in great, glowing photographs.
Love when Annie shoots available light. This really got me inspired by her again…her studio work has gotten quite mundane and flat. Love her cinematic approach!
I love this editorial!
I love her red hair too much~~
Jane Russell in The Women (hay pose) but what are the other cinematic references? List them if you know…
Are you kidding me? Jack White is a prolific talent!
Um, yeah. I'm not sure what bubblegum pop you've been saturating yourself with, but while you were smacking Jack White almost single-handedly saved rock and roll. This spread is GORGEOUS and so is he.
