  1. Why do they keep using Poppy Delevingne? I get that she’s a name now, but she is really not a model. Not from a modeling perspective, and not from a basic ‘pretty’ perspective either.

    • In what sense is Poppy not a “model though”?….only because you’ve been told
she’s not! She’s as much a model as anyone who’s put in front of the
camera.Tell me why those pictures of Karmen are so different…

      • She is used for her advertising value, because she is a socialite. There is no way she would be signed with an agency if she wasn’t a Delevingne. The pictures of Karmen are way better.
Being photographed doesn’t make you a model. She is not photogenic nor versatile.

        • I’m sorry but being a model has nothing to do with looking like Karmen.
Give it a year and she’s gone. There are a few (very few) models who last the course, but only due to to the interest of the press and the public eg
Kate Moss. Poppy will way outlast Karmen Pedaru in the public eye. I’m afraid that’s just the way it is, and why fashion designers will often choose “celebrities” (even B list) to sell clothes. It’s not about the model in that sens, and even the models know that. They don’t go into this business expecting to become famous. It’s about the aspiration of the potential buyers. Poppy has that, Karmen, much as I love her look, is just yesterday’s mannequin, and very few people expect to buy these clothes and look like her. At least Poppy (who I think is attractive by the way) has her sister and, let’s face it, a lot of connections. Hmm Jerry Hall anyone?

  2. Very urban shots, although I feel that couple of pictures like the jeans shot, are too basic and cliche……
