Tattoos are in fashion for the #105, Spring Preview 2017 issue of V Magazine. Six models including Kendall Jenner, Lara Stone, Joan Smalls, Carolyn Murphy, Amber Valletta and Ellen Rosa land their own covers. Photographed by Mario Testino, the top models show off temporary tattoos designed by artist Jenai Chin. Paul Cavaco styled the shoot with the accompanying interview by Derek Blasberg.

Carolyn Murphy also talks about the story behind her tattoos. “I had always wanted a tattoo so, when I was 25, I got a big one. A very big one. It was on the entire right side of my body: a large Japanese koi fish with waves and peonies,” she says. “But it’s almost gone.” Carolyn had it removed.
