Redefining Kenzo – Marking their second season as creative directors at Kenzo, designers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim offered up their refined take of urban street style for the label’s fall 2012 showing. The collection offered a fun look at modern staples with zig-zag patterns in autumn hues of army green, burgundy, sapphire, black and white. Knitted tops paired with billowing pants or short skirts appeared on the runway alongside animal prints and bold, graphic patterns. Outerwear was bulky, featuring sculpted shoulders and arms. The departure from the label’s romantic prints and silhouettes certainly shows with Leon and Lim’s new vision of youthful nonchalance.

Don’t know what to think. It’s comme ci comme ca collection.
ugly:(
The yellow set is a bit off putting and distracting.
This collection is a little bit scatterbrained but I love the quirkyness!
Can’t say I like all of it (& it looks somewhat disjointed) but the colors, textures & designs are fantastic! I also love the bright yellow/orange backdrop/runway.
