Five by Sea – With the recent news of Dolce & Gabbana’s offshoot line D&G ending, the spring 2012 campaign season marks the final advertisement for the diffusion brand. Starring Samantha Gradoville, Patrycja Gardygajlo and Valerija Sestic alongside male models Simone Nobili and Alfred Kovac, the group poses for Giampaolo Sgura in spring’s colorful prints and skin baring shapes.

D&G’s Grand Farewell – Dolce & Gabbana presented their last collection for the label’s off-shoot line, D&G, during the second day of major shows for Milan Fashion Week. Starting in 1994, the D&G line is most well-known for its colorful prints and audacious themes. The spring 2012 showing was one of its grandest collections yet with printed dresses made of silk, oversize hats, fabric cover wedges and chunky accessories that brought a boost of energy to the catwalk with loud colors and prints.

D&G gets graphic–graphic prints that is–for its fall 2011 collection shown during Milan Fashion Week. With a contemporary almost urban flair, bold typography prints splash against knits, sheer materials and necklaces. Not taking her style too seriously, the D&G girl is all about having fun with her fashion.

Following up the mainline campaign, D&G’s spring 2011 advertisements are out and get us into the spring spirit with a picnic themed shoot lensed by Mario Testino. Starring Keke Lindgard, Julia Turenkova, Jessica Clarke and Mariana Idzkowska, the lighthearted images showcase the label’s romantic floral prints with summertime fun.
