Hermès’ Spring Cover-up – For spring 2012, Hermès designer Christophe Lemaire provided cover-up for the hotter months with loose-fitting silhouettes, lightweight separates and arm-baring tops. A definite change from Jean Paul Gaultier’s vision for the luxury brand, Lemaire dressed the Hermès woman in billowing gowns and drapey pants. Color came in the form of electric blue, deep mauve and citrus orange.

For his first season as Hermès creative director, designer Christophe Lemaire made his mark with a more wearable and relaxed collection than seen from his predecessor Jean Paul Gaultier. Slouchy easy shapes inspired by turn of the century fashion were a fresh turn for the label. The show ended on a bright note, with models donning teal and citrus hues.

After seven years as creative director, Jean-Paul Gaultier presented his final collection for Hermés on the last day of Paris Fashion Week and did not disappoint. With an equestrian themed show packed with leather bodices, riding crops and hats, the spring collection proved to be a mix of sexy, elegant and inventive with an abundance of menswear inspired pieces.

A nighttime mystery is the main backdrop to Hermès fall 2010 campaign. Photographed by Palo Roversi and featuring Constance Jablonski, the images feature the luxury label’s signature scarves along with a menswear inspired collection topped off with a bowler hat and pocket watch to complete the androgynous look.
