Macdonalds’ Razor Sharp Spring – Julien Macdonald was inspired by a myriad of influences for his spring 2012 collection showcased during London Fashion Week. The sleek showing had military inspired elements, rock and roll glam, tattoo-like prints and metallic elements. The designs were razor-sharp in silhouette, ranging from tom boyish blazers and shorts to elegant gowns cut to fit the body.

Julien Macdonald delivers a gothic, rock and roll inspired collection for his fall 2011 collection presented during London Fashion Week. A story of lace, leather and knits, Macdonald imagined his female protagonist as a rebellious teenage girl with penchant for darkness. Indeed, the runway was filled with its fair share of black and moody makeup, but there was also romantic undertone even to the darkest of looks with their ornate patterns and billowing, almost ethereal silhouettes.

Delving into the new season with lingerie style dresses, Julien MacDonald brings a sense of romance to London Fashion Week. As always, the Julien MacDonald woman was one of glamour with models donning voluminous hair and smoky eyes for spring.
