Lacoste’s New Look – Marking his debut as Lacoste creative director, designer Felipe Oliveira Baptista set to make Lacoste more modern and sleek for the label’s spring 2012 collection. Starting off with streamlined silhouettes of black, white and navy, the season certainly had a more contemporary, streetwear friendly approach while still incorporating some of Lacoste’s well-known staples such as the men’s polo shirt, cotton pique, and sportswear separates. Baptista also used color blocking and art deco inspired prints to bring a splash of vibrance to the relaxed silhouettes.
