
Valentino’s Demure Couture – Valentino under designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Picciol has found its own voice throughout the years and spring 2012 haute couture is no exception with a collection of demure romanticism. This season showcased florals, lace, and crystal embellished bodices, all made with the utmost attention to detail. Like many shows this haute couture season, the color palette was light–showcasing silvers, powdery blue and rosy pink for a feminine touch.

Valentino Muses – Valentino’s spring 2012 campaign takes to the outdoors in these romantic images lensed by Deborah Turbeville. The new advertisements star Bette Franke, Fei Fei Sun, Zuzanna Bijoch, Maud Welzen and male model Clément Chabernaud. The images capture the romantic spirit of the spring season which feature ethereal gowns, leather dresses and metallic accents.

Romantic Outdoors – Forgoing the traditional names, Valentino enlists photographer Deborah Turbeville to shoot Zuzanna Bijoch, Maud Welzen, Bette Franke, and Fei Fei Sun for its spring 2012 campaign. Shot in Mexico, the girls sport updos similar to the spring runway show. (WWD)

Valentino’s Dreamy Spring – Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli once again delivered dreamy elegance for the label’s spring 2012 collection presented during the second to last day of Paris Fashion Week. Walking the line between womanly sophistication and girlish innocence, the Valentino woman took on leather for the new season along with peekaboo cutouts, minimal maxi gowns and traditional lace. Using a palette that bounced around the spectrum from Valentino red to black and pink blush, spring is a season of ease with flat shoes and slightly mussed hair.

Valentino Beauty – Dennison Bertram pays tribute to the elegance and sophistication of Valentino under designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, for the latest issue of Marie Claire Czech. Starring Karo Mrozkova styled by Sona Jankuliakova, the black and white images give an edgy twist to the traditional atmosphere with slicked back hair and flawless makeup by Craig Hughan.

Valentino’s Airy Couture – Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli deliver a lightweight and ethereal collection fit for a princess with the label’s fall 2011 haute couture line. Showcasing romantic ivory and silvery hues, the Valentino woman dons delicate lace and watercolor accents in the form of painted tulle, dévoré chiffon and metallic details. Topped off with a jewel encrusted wreaths, the collection is understated luxury at its best.
