The juxtaposition of hard and soft is the main foundation for Lanvin’s spring 2011 showing. Sleek silhouettes and asymmetry come together with lightweight materials and armor-like structures for a mix of the feminine and masculine. A most muted color palette of soft grays, neutrals and blues offset a few bright spots of red and yellow–marking the collection as quiet yet powerful.
