Plus-sized is becoming a new trend. And whetever that is positive, I don't know. Seeing plus-size is positive, but the fact that it is becoming a trend rather than it's the norm, is annoying.

It's nice to see some women actually filling out the clothes they wear (can we say hellooo boobies?). The brunette's face is beautiful. However I find it really annoying that plus size is like this "trend" that feels like a big "eff you" to the rest of the modeling world…

What surprised me was that these women were plus-size. I know this is the world of fashion, but I would not have said this is a spread with plus-size models from the picture before the jump, the one of Laura Catteral. She looks full-figured, but totally normal weight-wise. But as for the photographs, they are terrific.

Isn’t this about the size most women are?

Modeling isn't about capturing the average woman, which is why the plus size division reflect the industry standard not the world standard. If it reflected the world standard then the plus-size models would need to be truly obese

So what about girls (and women) who may not be thin, but also lack curves and boobs?
What message is “plus-size” modeling sending them? Won’t all the praise heaped upon plus size models for having curves and breasts, be just as detrimental.

Should I get a boob job? Or eat even more? Or should I follow the example of slim models and exercise and eat healthy, untill my weight fits in proportion with my small boobs and uncurvaceous hips?

Or just stay the inbetween that will always be considered ugly.
