Best of the Season – For the sixteenth issue of Purple Fashion, Terry Richardson follows the ever adorable Lindsey Wixson around New York City and New Jersey, from basketball courts to restaurants to train tracks and everywhere in between. With art direction from Olivier Zahm, Lindsey dons a variety of looks and attitudes for this massive cover shoot. Stylist Caroline Gaimari uses selects from the fall collections of Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière, Céline, Alexander Wang, Prada, Lanvin, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Rodarte, Haider Ackermann, Giorgio Armani and others.

  1. Some shots are cute, others lack focus and fail to show off the clothes.
    I am also not a fan of the red lipstick, but Lindsey’s eyes look incredible.

  3. You have to hand it to him! Terry manages to make the mundane look so cool! Love Lindsey and the weirdness in the juxtaposition of the high fashion in the “ugly” locations.

    So didn’t Terry Richardson do some other shoot with Lindsey Wixson where she was eating spaghetti in some other cheesy restaurant?
    Why would you take the same picture again with the same model?
