Girl With the Pearl EarringsOK! China crowns Chinese fashion model Liu Wen as the first Asian supermodel in its April 2013 issue. After being named the very first Asian face of Estee Lauder in 2010, Liu has gone on to appear in campaigns for Tiffany & Co., H&M and Oscar de la Renta. Lensed by photographer Jumbo Tsui, the classic belle is a vision in feminine ladylike looks from Prada, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs and more chosen by stylist Min Rui. / Make-up by Litchi Zhang, Hair by Chiao Shen

  1. I love Liu Wen as a model, but “first Asian supermodel”? In more recent years, I thought China had loved Du Juan, and I’m sure there were other ladies before her who were pretty great but now forgotten.
