
Industrial Nature – Taking inspiration from the New York City landscape ranging from tall skyscrapers to natural sights, Kenneth Cole delivers an urban chic collection for the spring-summer season. Modeled by Ieva Laguna, the designs focus on contrasts–pairing jewel toned colors with basic black and white. The women’s collection plays on proportion, featuring fitted suits and voluminous dresses as well as maxi dresses. Spring represents the duality of the modern woman with looks that can easily translate from day to night.

On Target – Set to debut in stores this February, Jason Wu teams up with big-chain retailer Target for a capsule collection of affordable designs starting at just $19.99. The new collection was inspired by an American girl in Paris and features Wu’s vision of ladylike and demure creations with a colorful palette, feminine patterns and lightweight materials.

Lam’s Sleek Pre-Fall – Derek Lam creates a relaxed yet elegant vision for the pre-fall season with tailored suits, fur embellished coats and bohemian patterned dresses. Modeled by Caroline Brasch Nielsen, the new collection features streamlined silhouettes with a retro flair–making the Lam woman one with a modern take on classic staples.

Chloé’s Structured Pre-Fall – For pre-fall 2012, Chloé’s new creative director Clare Waight Keller is inspired by the images of 1960s and 1970s street style photographer Garry Winogrand. Playing with proportion, voluminous egg-shaped outerwear is paired with form-fitting trousers, pleated skirts and button-up shirts. Welcome to the Club – Club Monaco unveils its spring 2012 collection with a new style book starring Aline Weber and Othilia Simon. The new season is inspired by nature, backed by a color palette of soft neutrals including taupe, grey, brown and yellow. Silhouettes are loose-fitting and bohemian with lightweight outerwear and accessories such as beaded scarves, leather bags and metal jewels.

LA Girl – After taking a look at NYC style, fashion retailer Free People hones in on Los Angeles style with Australian model Jessica Hart soaking up the sun in Chrissy Piper’s laid-back images. Wearing a mix of surf wear, boho dresses and tie dye shirts, Jessica sports her winning smile with tousled locks and natural makeup for the January catalogue.
