John Galliano showed his own version of the military uniform for Maison Margiela’s fall-winter 2016 show presented during Paris Fashion Week. An army khaki jacket was transformed into something more ladylike with a sheer peplum top. Galliano’s version of camouflage was painterly prints or leopard spots. Many looks were disrupted—a half sweater, with a half dress or even two sweaters paired together for one look.

Glimmers of metallic fabrics, iridescent in nature add a touch of sparkle to the Maison Margiela woman’s wardrobe. Capes also stood out—a long black one with a clover or sheer styles are layered over floaty separates. Finishing the look, chunky gloves with Perspex bangles and equally chunky platform heels.
