I actually really dig this. Yeah, it is very cold but I think it works perfectly. It's cold, plastic and shallow and it all works perfectly. There's so much hate toward Megan, but I think there is just something really endearing about her (atleast for me personally) and I just think this is an example of how to take a general negative opinion about someone (that she's a cold, shallow, one-look wonder) and work it perfectly.

If you're going to Photoshop a face to the extent where the subject looks like plastic, you might as well just shoot mannequins. What's the difference?

I really like this. I don't like Megan Fox's acting, because, lets face it, there's really hardly any acting involved. Her looks have carried her through in the industry. I think this is a really cool way of hinting at that, although, perhaps it's a bit too blatant to be called hinting. It's cold, yes, but it has to be, that's central to the entire concept. The severe, cold and calculated sexuality of the entire spread is pretty superb.

I think Megan´s face might be superimposed in #1 and #4. There´s no way the mannequin looks so much like her. Besides, look at how different that mannequin face is in those two pictures compared to the one in #7… Having said that, I LOVE the concept and that icy mood, in stark contrast to those red glossy lips. McDean provides, as always.

VERY HELMUT NEWTON – he did a shoot with a woman playing with a mannequin mini doll version of herself, and another with sex dolls. Really nice interpretation.

We agree. Original, awesome, provocative!!! Those who wrote "who's the mannequin" got the point totally. In fashion's desire for Stepford perfection, and our American desire to be celeb clones, you get mannequins. This is just a 70s statement made new again. Love it.
