Milla Jovovich Gets Political in Haute Couture for Peter Lindbergh’s Vogue Italia Shoot

H.C. Experimental – Photographer Peter Lindbergh (2b Management) collaborates with conceptual artist Jenny Holzer for the September issue of Vogue Italia, where model turned actress Milla Jovovich poses alongside Holzer’s “Truisms”. Fashion editor Jacob K selects a wardrobe of haute couture pieces from the fall collections of Armani Prive, Jean Paul Gaultier, Giambattista Valli and Dior for the brunette to wear on a stage setting. Retro curls by hair stylist Valentin and glam makeup by Emmanuel Sammartino help Milla make a statement in style.

I think if anything the “leftist” slogans were refreshing. Fashion is often far to shallow and highly derivative, that is good to see some politics, also fashion leans far too much to the right. Manor houses, stuffed animals, high end restaurents, all of these props are over used and often used in a lazy way
