Marking five years as the face of Miss Dior, actress Natalie Portman is back for the latest reincarnation of the famous scent. The Miss Dior Blooming Absolutely fragrance campaign was shot by Tim Walker. Natalie strikes a seductive pose, lounging on a pink couch while wearing a little black dress.
The accompanying short film shows her in a Parisian apartment, looking playful and flirty set to the tunes of ‘Piece of My Heart’ by Janis Joplin. Dior’s exclusive perfume creator François Demachy is the nose behind the scent. The fragrance is described as a floral delight with notes of red berry, peony and white musk.
While the film certainly inspires femininity and flirtation, sometimes we want to be on the opposite end of the spectrum regarding our mood and what we wear that day. For times like that, it’s a good idea to have on hand another Christian Dior cologne that will make you feel more sultry, sexy, and perhaps more profound.
Fashion is all about taking risks and getting creative with our outward appearance to reflect who we are and how we are feeling on the inside. This is why any fashion plate will tell you that fashion is indeed one of the highest forms of art. And, as proven with the iconic video ad Natalie stars in, scent plays a significant role in your presentation to those around you and the world.
You should never feel restricted by “gender norms” or anything when selecting a fragrance either. You can wear head-to-toe pink and frills and your favorite strappy heels and still feel sexy in a men’s cologne. You’re fabulous!
