Arise celebrates the 2010 World Cup with their most recent issue starring models Alek Wek, Oluchi Onweagba, Gracie Carvalho, Georgie Badiel, Aminata Niaria and Nana Kieta on a fold-out cover page. Photographed by Marc Baptiste, the colorful images display which teams the girls are rooting for and most importantly represents the unity of the African continent for South Africa’s hosting of the World Cup.

Alek Wek makes an appearance in The Financial Times‘ monthly luxury magazine, How To Spend It, wearing some of the season’s most enticing prints styled by Damian Foxe. Lensed by Andrew Yee, the Sudanese model makes a striking subject in Global Gathering as she models looks from the likes of Stella McCartney, Lanvin and Etro.
