The Naked Truth – Peter Lindbergh’s (2b Management) latest story for Vogue Germany’s June issue features eleven German women of varying ages in intimate portraits of pure and unadulterated femininity. This is part of an across the board health initiative by all nineteen international Vogues to promote healthy body image.
Featuring understated beauty, the images showcase models Julia Stegner, Toni Garrn, Katrin Thormann, Hanna Wähmer, Luca Gajdus, Jana Drews and Nadja Auermann, actresses Nina Hoss and Karina Krawczyk, photographer Donata Wenders, and finally, Vogue Germany’s own editor-in-chief Christiane Arp. With styling by Arp, the women don pared down selects from the likes of Isabel Marant, Dior, Christian Louboutin, Maison Martin Margiela, Calvin Klein Collection, Giles, Ann Demeulemeester, Michael Kors and Yves Saint Laurent. / Hair by Valentin, Makeup by José Sanchez, Prop styling by Tom Bewermeier

Posen’s Eastern Fall – For fall 2012, Zac Posen transformed his signature evening wear looks into something a bit more Eastern inspired with models wearing high chignons and novel prints. Dramatic fishtail and mermaid silhouettes dominated the runway detailed with kimono-like belts. Shoulders held a strong shape, showcasing big, powerful folds of origami influence. Styled in bright red lips, look-at-me jewelry and fur coats; the Posen woman is certainly someone who will make an entrance for autumn.

Altuzarra’s Traveling Woman – For fall 2012, Joseph Altuzarra explored a fusion of French and Moroccan style with a showcase of tailored jackets, relaxed trousers and Middle Eastern inspired prints. This season offered up a naval influence with decorated coats and dresses covered in silver medallions like souvenirs from one’s sea travels. The Paris meets Marrakesh affair resulted in a polished display of outerwear paired with mid-length skirts which ooze modern luxury for the upcoming autumn.
