Mabel, Betty and Bette – Ukrainian photographer Yelena Yemchuk’s (2b management) latest work is featured in the spring-summer issue of Tar Magazine with a story starring top models. Jade Berreau, Frankie Rayder, Christina Kruse, Alyssa Miller, Helena Christensen, Tanga Moreau, Hannelore Knuts, Eniko Mihalik, Karen Elson, Aurelie Claudel, Trish Goff, Michele Hicks, Constance Jablonski, Ali Michael, Shannan Click, Olga Sherer and Anouk Lepere pay homage to old Hollywood screen sirens with retro style looks selected by stylist Heathermary Jackson. The girls all take to various settings ranging from the playground to the diner in swimwear designs from the likes of Prada, Blumarine and Chanel.

The Sweet Life – Karolina Kurkova wears a sparkling Dolce & Gabbana bustier for the June cover of Vogue Mexico, shot by Mariano Vivanco. This isn’t Karolina’s first time wearing Dolce on a cover though. The Czech stunner also graced the April issue of Vogue Turkey in a bejeweled piece from the label’s spring collection (photo here).

Dance Étoile – The Lights, Camera, Action issue of i-D features a dramatic and beautifully photographed editorial of Malgosia Bela as a dancer. Photographer Greg Kadel captures the model in action as she dissolves into rapturous movements, wearing pieces from Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen and Balenciaga selected by stylist Havana Laffitte. The beauty of the images truly comes to life in a short film set to music by violinist Daniel Bensi, which perfectly highlights Malgosia’s captivating turn as a prima ballerina. / View the print story here.

Swim Babe – Australian fashion label Seafolly names Namibian beauty Behati Prinsloo the face of its summer 2012 campaign. Behati was shot by David Gubert in L.A’s Desert Springs for the new advertisements. A Scanner Darkly – Photographer Daniel Jackson captures an avant-garde editorial for the June issue of Dazed & Confused. Inspired by the works of fashion illustrator René Gruau, models Ava Smith, Codie Young, and Madison Headrick are transformed to look like rough drawings by make up artist Yadim.
