A Scanner Darkly – Photographer Daniel Jackson captures an avant-garde editorial for the June issue of Dazed & Confused. Inspired by the works of fashion illustrator René Gruau, models Ava Smith, Codie Young, and Madison Headrick are transformed to look like rough drawings by make up artist Yadim. Stylist Karen Langley (Total Management) selects several minimalist pre-fall 2012 pieces from labels such as Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, and Céline to go with the simple aesthetics of the story. / Hair by Yannick D’Is

The Artist – Always a magazine to toe the line between art and fashion, the summer edition of i-D profiles performance artist Calder Kusmierski Singer alongside Alexandra Marzella in Daniel Jackson’s eclectic portraits. Stylist Alastair McKimm selects some of the season’s standout pieces ranging from Balenciaga to Louis Vuitton to Marc Jacobs and many more. Hair stylist Yannick D’iS and makeup artist Yadim are responsible for the duo’s avant-garde makeup and hair.

Dancing in the Soul – Daniel Jackson captures top Chinese models Liu Wen, Sui He and Ming Xi alongside ballet dancer Justin Peck for an emotive story featured in the May issue of Vogue China. Wearing lightweight creations from the spring collections of Calvin Klein, Chloe, Dior, Helmut Lang and others; the trio taps into their inner dancers with styling by Tiina Laakkonen. Windswept hair by Yannick D’Is and red lips by makeup artist Yadim bring a classic look to their enchanting movements.

Up and Coming – Korean label Coming Step enlists top model Aline Weber for its spring 2012 campaign. In front of Daniel Jackson’s lens, Aline wears contemporary looks such as androgynous outerwear and mini skirts styled by Alastair McKimm. With creative direction by Moss Creative, the images play with color and shape reflecting the hip clothing designs.
