Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott also known as Mert & Marcus are a photography duo. They met in England in 1994, and began to work together shortly after in 1995. They got their start by shooting for magazines such as Dazed & Confused (now known as Dazed Magazine). Throughout their career, Mert & Marcus’ work appeared in publications such as W Magazine, Vogue US, Vanity Fair, Vogue Paris, Interview and Vogue UK. They also shot for major brands like Gucci, Givenchy, L’Oreal Paris, Yves Saint Laurent and Lancôme.
