Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott also known as Mert & Marcus are a photography duo. They met in England in 1994, and began to work together shortly after in 1995. They got their start by shooting for magazines such as Dazed & Confused (now known as Dazed Magazine). Throughout their career, Mert & Marcus’ work appeared in publications such as W Magazine, Vogue US, Vanity Fair, Vogue Paris, Interview and Vogue UK. They also shot for major brands like Gucci, Givenchy, L’Oreal Paris, Yves Saint Laurent and Lancôme. Some of the famous faces they shot include Angelina Jolie, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid and Kim Kardashian.
