With roots in the music genre of the same day, rockabilly style first took shape in the 1950s and still remains relevant to this this. What exactly makes it so enduring through the years? The ladylike style combined with a rock aesthetic makes for an appealing combination. Much of rockabilly style is about taking inspiration from the past, so that means greaser style leather jackets, 1950s petticoats and cropped denim is key. To finish off the rockabilly look, a retro-inspired hairstyle is a must. A pompadour, victory rolls or lush curls are all ways to channel the past.
