Sean & Seng reunite with model Samantha Gradoville as they take to to the rich landscapes of Thailand for the most recent issue of POP. Styled by Tamara Rothstein, Samantha dons some of the most colorful prints of the season including designs from Versace, Max Mara, Prada and others with kitschy fruit accessories from Topshop.

i love it, the elephant is so sweet. but why there has to be nudity in this as well? the cigarette at the last shoot is more annoying though. this is about nature.

Elephants in Asia are subject to several abuses in order to entertain tourists and this editorial just reminds me of that. Painting, feeding humans on the streets or even posing is just not natural for them. This editorial means suffer for me and I only can find it disgusting.

Maybe, but we don’t really know that these elephants are subject to abuse. I suspect over at POP they would have known about a problem like that and put some effort into avoiding a bad situation. At least I hope so.

my brother just visited an elephant sanctuary in thailand where 34 adult elephants are cared for, not ridden or abused for our amusement. i hope that this was shot at a similar sanctuary. america is just as guilty with the abuse of elephants-please boycott all circuses.

I think there is just something capturing about this editorial. Yes, it might be a little out there with nudity, smoking and an elephant, but I think it’s up to me to enjoy the photos, not question them. The fact that it contains boobs and cigarettes doesn’t make them any less beautiful.

The colours are gorgeous and so is the location, i have no problem with the model’s sensuality…BUT when it is erotically charged and aimed at an animal (namely, elephant painting her; riding the elephant in the water; lying open legged on his neck and putting his trunk on her breast/shoulder), it is WRONG and borders on beastiality. But that is what they were going for..Hmm.
