The Naked Truth – Peter Lindbergh’s (2b Management) latest story for Vogue Germany’s June issue features eleven German women of varying ages in intimate portraits of pure and unadulterated femininity. This is part of an across the board health initiative by all nineteen international Vogues to promote healthy body image.
Featuring understated beauty, the images showcase models Julia Stegner, Toni Garrn, Katrin Thormann, Hanna Wähmer, Luca Gajdus, Jana Drews and Nadja Auermann, actresses Nina Hoss and Karina Krawczyk, photographer Donata Wenders, and finally, Vogue Germany’s own editor-in-chief Christiane Arp. With styling by Arp, the women don pared down selects from the likes of Isabel Marant, Dior, Christian Louboutin, Maison Martin Margiela, Calvin Klein Collection, Giles, Ann Demeulemeester, Michael Kors and Yves Saint Laurent. / Hair by Valentin, Makeup by José Sanchez, Prop styling by Tom Bewermeier

Dance Étoile – The Lights, Camera, Action issue of i-D features a dramatic and beautifully photographed editorial of Malgosia Bela as a dancer. Photographer Greg Kadel captures the model in action as she dissolves into rapturous movements, wearing pieces from Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen and Balenciaga selected by stylist Havana Laffitte. A Scanner Darkly – Photographer Daniel Jackson captures an avant-garde editorial for the June issue of Dazed & Confused. Inspired by the works of fashion illustrator René Gruau, models Ava Smith, Codie Young, and Madison Headrick are transformed to look like rough drawings by make up artist Yadim. Versace First – Versace starts off the fall campaign season with a bang, showcasing a gothic chic series of advertisements starring Dutch new face Elza Luijendijk who enters the ranks of previous faces including Gisele Bundchen, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Saskia de Brauw. Once again lensed by photography duo Mert & Marcus, the Italian fashion house chooses male models Philipp Schmidt, Dmitriy Tanner and Kacey Carrig (unpictured) for its menswear campaign. Joe McKenna styled Elza while David Bradshaw outfitted the men in London. The gothic theme works well with the autumn’s collection religious iconography and dark color palette. (WWD & RCFA)
